ReplyDeleteI'm interested in craftsmanship. What problems do you encounter and how do you solve them?
ReplyDeleteI love patterns that focus on the fabric itself vs. tiny pieces put together to form a flower or something. (Those have their place, just not in my heart!) Thanks!

I could stand to better understand how people use the various features of their cutting matts and rulers. There are all those diagonal lines, etc. and I'm sure I would use the various features more often and they could make quilting easier for me if I only had some idea how I should/could be using them.
ReplyDeleteI would love anything that inspires me to quilt/sew. Patterns, tutorials, examples, etc.
ReplyDeleteI love tutorials and blocks so more of these please.
ReplyDeleteUsing precuts to make quilts is a great topic any time!

ReplyDeleteI'm new to quilting, so (while I enjoy admiring more complicated patterns from a distance) I'm on the lookout for tutorials/inspiration for quilting patterns/techniques that even a beginner could handle. I also love seeing the spaces where people create... peeks into stashes (tidy or messy), etc.
Hmmmmm.........I have tons of fat quarters. So something fat quarter friendly is always good for me.

ReplyDeleteI would love to see more tutorials Using fat quarters! :). Happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteTutorials, always tutorials, but also since you are moving your studio let us see what you've improved. Your old space, to your new space - what did you learn? What did you change, improve, leave the same? Lots of bloggers show storage and stash ideas, but how you actually 'work' - you know, like a kitchen triangle? What works best in a studio for quilters? I'll be doing this in the next year, so I'm looking for thoughts from others.
ReplyDeleteI would love to learn how you decide on a quilting design once you have the to together. "Quilt as desired" makes me shake in my boots! :)
