Today we have the incomparable Idina Menzel and Kristin Chenoweth performing Defying Gravity at the Tony Awards from the smash hit musical Wicked.
I have seen this show three different times. I just heart this musical. I think it might be my all time fav.
If this does not get you in the quilting mood then nothing will.

I love love love Wicked!! We've seen it twice on Broadway and once in Nashville - and I'll go see it again every chance I get! My fave song from the soundtrack is "For Good", but this is a close second!! Thanks for bringing both songs to mind this morning!!
ReplyDeleteI was not prepared when I saw Wicked...no idea I would sob through most of it. First, I have an incredible fear of flying monkeys...then I literally shook with sobs when the dad wants nothing to do with his green baby...I was sitting next to my pregnant daughter at the time and assured her through my blubbering that I would love her baby, no matter what color he/she was. By the musical's end...I was emotionally spent...but LOVED it.
