Oh my gosh, I just spent 30 minutes on FQS upcoming list. I had to write them all down, I've got 15 of them that are my top picks. My most anticipated is Seaside Cottage and I'd really like to do the Slash Block.

ReplyDeleteI am using the lost and found bundle from the fat quarter shop. I have currently used it in the last month blocks but am incorporating it in all the blocks since I am doing my BOM in red black and white. So we will see what the next blocks are.

ReplyDeleteI like the Apple of my Eye fabric collection and look forward to using it. I love the February blocks from Amy's BOM and have visualized using them together for an entire quilt. The two blocks fit together nicely and form a secondary pattern where they meet. The Apple of my Eye fabrics would look fresh and vibrant in this quilt.

ReplyDeleteSo many choices! Not having seen all of Amy's blocks yet, that makes it a little more interesting too. So far... I'm leaning toward the Icy Too Many Men in Amy's Half-Square Triangles or the Nine-Square... or one of the Batiks [Summer Harvest Batiks, Sunrise Over The Rainbow Batiks, Mocha Express Batiks, Fall Festival Batiks] possibly in her August Stars block. Lots of harvest fabrics to love, the Stonehenge fabrics too.

ReplyDeleteI'm gong to have to go with 'Apple of my Eye' since I have an Apple Orchard! too perfect! I've made the first two blocks and I love the wonky pound sign - it's a technique that's open to so many different interpretations - too fun!

I like the Bungle Jungle (how fun it would be to throw in some soft plushy and make a baby blanket!), but I think I would really pick the All About Coffee by Exclusively Quilters. I love the HST and probably go with the balkan puzzle. I am so excited to see what else she has in store for us! :)

From the Coming Soon section, I really liked the "Brave Women of Courage" series, but I love batiks, so I'd have to say I'm super excited about the "Color Wheel Over the Rainbow" batik charm packs and jelly rolls that are on their way!
